The charity selected by the Windy City Rollers for our support this month is Dreams For Kids, a volunteer based, non-profit children’s charity that breaks down social barriers and ends the isolation of at-risk youth. Dreams For Kids was born on December 24, 1989 in a small room inside a homeless shelter in the Englewood neighborhood on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois, with a dozen volunteers reaching out to just 54 homeless children.

Willow House started as a local bereavement group and has grown to become one of the most important industry leaders in the nation, offering peer support groups, workshops and programs for families at no cost.
