The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) announced that the Windy City Rollers All-Stars qualified for the 2014 Division 1 Playoffs in Evansville, IN, Sept. 19-21 as the #3 seed. The tournament seeding reflects the June 30 WFTDA rankings, which were based on sanctioned games played through that date.
The Windy City Rollers are hosting a "pop up rink" this weekend, July 12 & 13, during West Fest, an outdoor festival in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. We're taking our Skate Court outside!
This past Saturday, June 21, in a knock down aggressive bout, the Windy City Rollers All-Stars and the Des Moines Team United endured a back and forth 1st half with Windy’s deep bench maintaining endurance for an ultimate victory of 208-97.
On an "alumni night" ten years from now, Second Wind skaters will proudly recall Saturday's triumph over Motor City Disassembly Line, the complete shut down of the Detroit team with a final score of 368-53.

Come out and cheer on your favorite WCR travel team skaters this Saturday, June 21 at UIC Pavilion as they take on Team United from Des Moines, Iowa and the Motor City Disassembly Line from Detroit. It will also be *ALUMNI NIGHT*, so you'll be sure to see all the fun, familiar faces of skaters from the past cheering along with you.
