In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Windy City Rollers, we want to invite all of our fans to a very special Black and Blue Gala. The dress-to-impress event is the first we've ever thrown, and we can't wait to show you what we have planned!
The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) announced that the Windy City Rollers All-Stars qualified for the 2014 Division 1 Playoffs in Evansville, IN, Sept. 19-21 as the #3 seed. The tournament seeding reflects the June 30 WFTDA rankings, which were based on sanctioned games played through that date.
The Windy City Rollers are hosting a "pop up rink" this weekend, July 12 & 13, during West Fest, an outdoor festival in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. We're taking our Skate Court outside!
This past Saturday, June 21, in a knock down aggressive bout, the Windy City Rollers All-Stars and the Des Moines Team United endured a back and forth 1st half with Windy’s deep bench maintaining endurance for an ultimate victory of 208-97.
On an "alumni night" ten years from now, Second Wind skaters will proudly recall Saturday's triumph over Motor City Disassembly Line, the complete shut down of the Detroit team with a final score of 368-53.
