I first met Val at the WCR season opener a couple weeks ago and I was so taken by her, I asked her if she'd like to drop in from time to time and share some of her experiences as a 'roller girl.'  Never being one to back down from a challenge, Val agreed and makes her debut today with her take on where she came up with her 'derby name'

A primera vista, las Windy City Rollers pueden parecer un grupo de chicas rudas y que pueden atemorizar a cualquiera con nombres de batalla como "Ruth Enasia", "Blazing Inferno", "Rose Feratu", "Bring 2 Hell", "Ska Face", o "Kola Loka", pero detrás de esa fachada hay hermanas, hijas y madres que encuentran en la pista un lugar para expresarse y divertirse.
