Never having particularly enjoyed a sport, Stegoscorus was hooked on derby after just one bout. A favorite sport? A favorite team? The feeling was strange and new, but she didn’t fight it. She spent three seasons as a superfan, peer pressuring her friends and loved ones to attend bouts and even tournaments, until it just wasn’t enough anymore. She joined The Windy City Rollers as a referee for the 2008 season, and is more committed to and in love with women’s flat track roller derby than ever.

Favorite teams are a thing of the past, and Stegoscorus is thrilled to be in her third season of keeping the game safe and fair for everyone. In addition to being active in the leadership of WCR, she is involved with national refereeing, serving as a WFTDA Referee Representative for the league, as well as the Director of the WFTDA Referee Apprentice Program.
