This Saturday, June 7,  Metropolitan Brewing is hosting a charity event to benefit the WCR All-Stars, and you're invited! A $10 ticket gets you a tour of their Ravenswood facility, plus exclusive tastings of their habanero and orange peel-infused Krank Shaft. Not to mention, you get to hang out with your favorite roller derby league. All proceeds will be donated to the Windy City Rollers All-Stars travel fund.

After a 0-3 start to the season, the Manic Attackers thumped the defending league champions, The Fury, in the playoffs to book their ticket to the 10th Annual Ivy King Cup championship on May 17. Saturday night the Manics faced the Double Crossers, who hadn't won a regular season game or playoff in three full seasons. Yet a very different Double Crossers team started the 2013-2014 season with a bang, heading into the final with a 3-1 record.
