To raise funds for its travel teams and celebrate one of Chicago’s most refreshing traditions, Craft Beer Week, the Windy City Rollers will be teaming up with Metropolitan Brewing again this year.
On Sat., May 23, the woman-owned brewery will open its doors to thirsty WCR fans. Visitors will be able to explore its facilities with a Metropolitan guide and sample four three-ounce pours of its critically acclaimed lagers. This Saturday, the Windy City Rollers All-Stars and Second Wind will take on the teams from the Mad Rollin’ Dolls in Madison, Wis. This bout will feature some of the best skaters in the Midwest. It all came down to the last jam: a power jam for the the Windy City Rollers All-Stars, a 10-point deficit and a veteran jammer in KillaNois.
