Although the Windy City Rollers Second Wind fought hard and started out the game on top of the Mad Rollin’ Dolls Dairyland Dolls B Team, Madison ultimately came out victorious on Saturday evening at our second bout of the travel season.

In the second game of the night at our travel season bout at Lombard Roller Rink this past Saturday, the Windy City Rollers All-Stars were looking for their first win this season. Pitted against the Mad Rollin’ Dolls A-team, the Dairyland Dolls All-Stars, the WCR All-Stars successfully took down our neighbors to the north in an excitingly close game.

The Windy City Rollers' own Kristina Rago will be leading two stopping clinics on Sat. May 30 and Sat. Jun. 6 from 2-4 p.m. She'll be covering multiple stops, so come out to sharpen your plow stops, turnaround stops and more!  The clinics are open to skaters of all genders who are 18+ with basic skating abilities. You must bring your own gear.

To raise funds for its travel teams and celebrate one of Chicago’s most refreshing traditions, Craft Beer Week, the Windy City Rollers will be teaming up with Metropolitan Brewing again this year.
On Sat., May 23, the woman-owned brewery will open its doors to thirsty WCR fans. It all came down to the last jam: a power jam for the the Windy City Rollers All-Stars, a 10-point deficit and a veteran jammer in KillaNois.
