Andreas LeBouf was perhaps the most formidable vocal coach at the McAllister Academy of Fine Arts; he was content to believe that his supremacy extended to the entirety of the continent. Needless to say, it took a lot to impress him. It was an unremarkable Tuesday afternoon and he was rushing to his after school manicure (“emphasis on the MAN,” he would tell his colleagues in jest) when he heard a supernatural wail emanating from underneath the first floor staircase. It was heartstoppingly beautiful, piercing his spine and giving him goose bumps.
He peered into the darkness to find little Belinda Weatherington of the Newport Weatheringtons.
Belinda had been brought to the school following the tragic demise of her parents, who had suffered simultaneous heart-attacks. When the coroner arrived on the scene, he was shocked to find that every single piece of glass on the entire estate had been shattered. Strange….
Young child, come out into the light,” exhorted Mr. LeBouf. “I have never heard a more beautiful voice! Wherever does it come from?
Belinda just smiled with a fiery light in her eyes that suggested the source of the sound.
Twenty years later, Belinda was a pop sensation. Her eerie and strangely infectious voice could be heard on nearly every radio station across the nation. In all the world, there was but one that rivaled her fame: Britney Smears. Britney had emerged from the backwater swamps of Louisiana to garner a fortune with her superficial pop anthems. This “trailer trash,” as Belinda liked to call her, had leaked a lot of damaging gossip about Ms. Weatherington to the press rags.
But Belinda would have her revenge….
It was the night of VH1’s live broadcast of “DIVAS” and the two rivals were scheduled to appear on stage at the same time. Two bars into the chosen song, Belinda’s voice took on an unearthly tone and all of the glass in the auditorium began to vibrate. Britney felt her implants begin to burst and suddenly Belinda rushed her, clawing at her rival’s face until it was a hideous tangle of scarlet scars. Before the stunned security staff could pull her off of Britney, Belinda made a break for the fire exit.
The stricken Britney was carried back to her dressing room to find the following message scrawled in blood red lipstick all over the mirror:
SEE YOU IN HELL!
