"You break it, you own it" -- that's what BC's first boyfriend thought, anyway. Man, did he learn the hard way. She may look sweet and juicy on the outside, but BrokenCherry brooks shit from neither man nor beast. She carved the famous two X's into his forehead that would eventually become the Double-Crosser's logo, skated for the horizon and never looked back.

Back then, nobody called her BrokenCherry. "Petty felon," "jailbait" and "that bitch on skates who stole my boyfriend," sure. But she didn't have a proper handle until a friend slipped her a clamshell-shaped pack of "B.C." She thought it stood for "BrokenCherry" and the name stuck like that giant scab she got from the Fury's Anne Putation running her into a wall during a practice bout.

"Completely blindsided me," says BrokenCherry with her usual steel calm. "I've got all kinds of rivals on the track – she's one in a million. But Anne Putation knows what she's done and what will happen when we meet. Whether we're coming out of a turn or on the straightaway, I'll always leave her something to remember me by. And Annie, I kept that scab -- watch your cornflakes."

On the track, she's a blur of black-strapped legs and braided pigtails leaving pads bloody in her wake… and messing up people's safety equipment too. When the Double Crossers hit the boards in their tight, short uniforms with X-strap tights digging into the nubile flesh of their thighs and calves, only one thing's on BrokenCherry's mind.

No, not that. Well, that too. But even more than that, she's thinking about the coveted Ivy King Cup... and Worldwide Roller Derby Domination!

"And getting my hair and nails done for my photoshoot," she adds. "Did you put that in there? OK, good."
