Kola Loka

"¡Más loka que tú!"

After years of scrappin' on the playgrounds of the Chicago Public Schools...as a teacher, Loka was added to Kola' nickname. Her vicious talents and fearlessness were noticed one day by some cholas on the block, known as The Fury. The notorious leader of the all-girl gang, Crimson Crusher, recruited her to represent them at a local prize fight. She won her first fight handily and the team enjoyed her spoils and planned to exploit her as their money maker. But opponent after opponent would pull out at the last minute, too afraid to face the infamous Loka. The gang needed an outlet for her fierce energy and decided to add her to their already successful roller derby team. Loka took to derby like a rabid dog to fresh meat. As a jammer, she feeds her ferocious appetite for destruction on the track, leaving blockers in her wake. Like her early days in the ring, many are afraid to face her and just skate out of her way, or at least that's the way it seems when she slices through the pack.
