Saturday night the Manic Attackers met the Hell's Belles for the second time in two weeks, with the prize for this bout being a trip to the Ivy King Cup championship in June. Just the same as a fortnight ago, the Manics were victorious with a 227-122 win.
The Belles broke out of Jam 1 with a 15-0 lead thanks to Zombea Arthur and held onto their lead 22-18 by Jam 3 after Ying O'Fire slugged back 15 points, and Tamikaze jammed for three points in the third. A jam later, Thievin' ...

Friday, March 1, 2013 matched up The Fury, currently undefeated in 2013, against the Hell's Belles, a team also undefeated in the regular season, with their sights set on first place. But the Belles may have wondered what hit them in the opening jams of this contentious bout; one in which the Belles had to battle back with the same hard physicality dished out on them by the fierce brass knuckles.

Olympic mania is still sweeping the athletes of the Windy City Rollers. We met with Hermione Danger, who is pretty pumped about the Olympics, so much so that she's been chirping about the Summer Games since before the summer began. Hermione is also a fan of the Winter Games and considers skier and gold medalist Lindsey Vonn one of her favorites.

The Second Wind faced off against the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls Flatliners on Saturday at the UIC Pavilion in what looked like a narrow loss but turned into an exciting come from behind win. Second Wind beat Bleeding Heartland by a final score of 92-87, a very small margin considering Bleeding Heartland played furiously and Second Wind was down their high-flying co-captain, Ska Face.

The WCR Second Wind faced off against the Kansas City Roller Warriors Plan B on Sept 10, 2011, bringing a ferocious point-scoring cavalcade to the UIC Pavilion and beating KCRW Plan B 210-103.
