Both the Manic Attackers and the Double Crossers were looking to make an impression on the league Saturday night as they faced off against each other.

The Second Wind faced off against the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls Flatliners on Saturday at the UIC Pavilion in what looked like a narrow loss but turned into an exciting come from behind win. Second Wind beat Bleeding Heartland by a final score of 92-87, a very small margin considering Bleeding Heartland played furiously and Second Wind was down their high-flying co-captain, Ska Face. 

The WCR Second Wind faced off against the Kansas City Roller Warriors Plan B on Sept 10, 2011, bringing a ferocious point-scoring cavalcade to the UIC Pavilion and beating KCRW Plan B 210-103.

Coming in off a momentous win against the Wall Street Traitors, the Second Wind was looking to keep a squeaky clean record this season taking on the Ohio Roller Girls on August 27, 2011.  Unfortunately for the Windy City B-Team, they fell short in the waning minutes and with a number of penalties mounting against them, losing 121-110.  It wasn't for lack of effort or sheer grit and determination though, given Zoe Trocious was playing with a broken thumb and Mo Vengeance received a nasty hit to the head that ...

The Windy City Rollers’ Second Wind traded blows with the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls’ The Contenders in a seesaw bout that saw Second Wind ultimately felled by The Contenders 130-124.

This week the Windy City Rollers turned heads at the Chicago Tribune, Gapers Block, and Chicago Now as they beat their opponents in the first home game of the travel season.
