This week The Windy City Rollers showed Sports Illustrated just what it means to be a true derby fan, and they got Gapers Block and Chicago Now revved up for the 2010 Home Season Championship!

The WCR All-Stars took on the North Star Supernovas over the weekend in a bout closed to the public and kicked off the 2010 travel season with a win.
UPDATED! Although The Fury were ultimately victorious over the Hell's Belles, it was a good day for the ladies in red, who had their closest game yet this season.
UPDATED! The Fury unexpectedly mauled The Double Crossers 128-51, leaving both teams plus the Manics in a three-way tie for first place.
UPDATED! The Fury's speedy jammers and experienced blockers trounced the Hell's Belles rookie squad by a margin of almost 100 points. However, in their second game of the season, the potential of many new Belles skaters began to shine through, showing promise for their young team.
This week, NBC 5 Chicago dropped in on a Windy City practice, Chicago Now chatted with Val Capone about derby names, and Hoy! talked derby en espanol with Sargentina!
