This past Saturday, June 21, in a knock down aggressive bout, the Windy City Rollers All-Stars and the Des Moines Team United endured a back and forth 1st half with Windy’s deep bench maintaining endurance for an ultimate victory of 208-97.
The Windy City Rollers All-Stars beat the St. Louis-based Arch Rival Roller Girls All-Stars 171-98 Saturday, the bout was a lot closer than the final score indicated.
The Windy City Rollers held tryouts over the weekend for coveted spots on the WCR All-Stars and Second Wind rosters. The first home game for the travel teams will be on Saturday, March 22 at the UIC Pavilion. Be sure to see the new teams in action and congratulate all of the athletes who made it!
Player of the Game: Varla Vendetta
With the crowd frothed up from the Second Wind/CN Power bout, the WCR All-Stars took the track against Montreal’s New Skids on the Block in a nail-biting win where the All-Stars won 249-211 at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Even though they won the ugliest uniform competition for the night, the New Skids were ready for battle against the WCR All-Stars and proved to hang tough through the entirety of the bout.
In their last home bout of the season, the Windy City All-Stars dropped the NRG Tornado Sirens with a 238-118 victory at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. There was nothing stopping the freight train that is the Windy City Rollers once the ladies in black started laying the tracks.

Denver’s Mile High Club, the currently ranked #2 in the world, touched down in Chicago Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 to take on the Windy City All-Stars at UIC Pavilion, an encounter that saw plenty of bumps and bruises.
The first of two afternoon playoff bouts on Mother’s Day kicked off at 3pm as the Double Crossers faced the undefeated Manic Attackers. Windy City All-Star veterans Hoosier Mama and Varla Vendetta joined the Crossers’ squad as guests in addition to Dame Over, Indycent, and co-captain Joanie Utah, all of whom made a return to the roster.
The night’s first bout profiled some interesting surprises with Public Enemy Number One, Val Capone suiting up as a Hell’s Belle and donning the number 89 saying, “If I’m not red, I’m dead.” With that, the Double Crossers had a big money line up of All-Stars including Hoosier Mama, Ol' Drrrty Go-Go, and Varla Vendetta. The Double Crossers won the bout with a score of 115-107 but forfeit the win because they were allowed to substitute All-Stars for their injured players.
