The first of two afternoon playoff bouts on Mother’s Day kicked off at 3pm as the Double Crossers faced the undefeated Manic Attackers. Windy City All-Star veterans Hoosier Mama and Varla Vendetta joined the Crossers’ squad as guests in addition to Dame Over, Indycent, and co-captain Joanie Utah, all of whom made a return to the roster.

In an evening filled with grand slams and monstrous hitting, the Second Wind started the season with an impressive win over the Naptown Roller Girls’ B-team, the Warning Belles, beating them 171-79 at the UIC Pavilion on March 31, 2012. With the first place seeding on the line, the Manic Attackers took the fight to the Hell’s Belles and claimed a first place victory winning 168-102 at the UIC Pavilion Saturday night. Both teams were frothing from the beginning, but the Manic Attackers had the gas to hold on until the end and sent the Hell’s Belles home with a loss. With both teams going into triple digits, there was no shortage of scoring, but the Manic Attackers defense is what was holding strong as the final whistle blew.

Coming in #1 in the north central region, the WCR All-Stars took to the track on day 2 of the WFTDA Championships, facing off against the Kansas City Roller Warriors. With high hopes of beating their first opponent and moving forward in tournament play, it was not meant to be as Kansas City pulled out a win against the All-Stars.

Starting the evening with a breakdance fight, the WCR All-Stars played host to the Tampa Tantrums at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday and sent them home with an incredibly lopsided win, beating them 196-42.

The Windy City Rollers All-Stars faced off against the Kansas City Roller Warriors All Stars in a grudge match-type bout Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the UIC Pavilion.

The Windy City Rollers All-Stars faced off against the Kansas City Roller Warriors All Stars in a grudge-match-type bout Saturday at the UIC Pavilion.  At the end of the bout, WCR was behind the 8-ball and lost to a determined Kansas City team by a score of 111-92.  The UIC Pavilion transformed into the Terror Dome where two teams would enter, but only one would leave.

The Windy City Roller All-Stars took on the San Diego Wildfires on August 27th, 2011,  at the UIC Pavilion, beating them unmercifully by a score of 255-22.  For a bout with such a lopsided score, the San Diego team brought everything they had to the table and didn't go down without a fight.  The San Diego Derby Dolls have the distinction of being the only league in the Nation to be ranked on both flat and banked track, according to their web page, and it appears that the bank track ...
