Last weekend the Windy City Rollers hosted their annual Black and Blue Ball to celebrate a great 2012 season and award the stand-out players. Congratulations to everyone who was recognized! We expect extraordinary things for the upcoming season!
In a lackluster first round appearance, the WCR All-Stars fell to the Denver Mile High Club with a final score of 212-130 in Atlanta at the WFTDA Championships this Saturday, Nov. 3. The day prior, Denver made short work of the Charm City All-Stars and kept the ball rolling right over the top of WCR.

Denver’s Mile High Club, the currently ranked #2 in the world, touched down in Chicago Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 to take on the Windy City All-Stars at UIC Pavilion, an encounter that saw plenty of bumps and bruises.
2012 was the Manic Attackers’ year heading into the Ivy King Cup Championship. In both 2010 and 2011 the Manics had their eyes on the title, but The Fury walked off with the cup. But after a season of hard work and instituting a “whole team” mentality, the Manic Attackers went undefeated. From the first whistle both teams dueled as The Fury led an offensive battle putting their best guns out. Yet, twice the Manics came back from huge deficits in the title bout to end The Fury’s reign.
