On May 17, The Windy City Rollers will participate in the Walk & Roll. This is an important WCR tradition, and 2009 will be our fifth yearskating in this event!

Walk & Roll is a fundraising event to benefit the American CancerSociety, the largest voluntary health organization in the world.Chicago participants can select from a 5-mile walk, 10-mile skate, or15-mile bike ride. WCR will be skating 10 miles along Chicago's lakefront, honoring our loved ones who have been affected by cancer, andis accepting donations towards our fund raising goal! Yourparticipation will help us reach ACS's goal of eliminating cancer as amajor health problem through research, education, advocacy andservice.
