Juliette Lewis Dedicates Stooges Cover to Roller Derby Team in Chicago
At Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago Wednesday night, Lewis proudly dedicated a cover of the Stooges' 'No Fun' to the Windy City Rollers, Chicago's all-female roller derby league. Lewis stated she drove nine hours in a van to see her girls and knew "what it was like being on the tracks," referring to her role in last year's Drew Barrymore-helmed roller derby film 'Whip It.'

First, in mid-September, qualified teams will battle for regional supremacy in the first four of the WFTDA’s so-called Big Five tournaments. In the Midwestern Thunda of the Tundra Chicago’s highly experienced Windy City Rollers stand out from a pack that includes Detroit’s squad and the host team, Milwaukee’s Brew City Bruisers.

Wojtulewicz excited about Niles North assistant AD job
“It was more of like a punk rock kind of thing to do,” Wojtulewicz said. “So the conservative teacher coming in it was sort of like unique since I didn’t have any tattoos or piercing or strangely colored hair at the time. And I just came out and blew them away with my athleticism. I did pretty well and it became part of my life... I just absolutely fell in love with it. It was a life-changing experience. It was more than just a hobby. It became part of my life.”
