League tryouts occurred last weekend, and 17 new recruits have joined the ranks of the Haymarket Rioters, the Windy City Rollers farm team! Says new recruit Abbey (derby name to come in the near future), “Tryouts were super challenging but I’m glad to know I’m part of a league that cares about pushing its members to be the best. And despite the massive amounts of sweat and impending vomit, it was encouraging to have veterans there giving constructive advice and cheering us on. I can’t wait to get in on the action.”

Congratulations to our newest skaters! Be sure to keep an eye out for them when the Windy City Rollers 2010 home season starts up in January.
