Manic Attackers beat Belles En Route to Ivy King Cup

Saturday night the Manic Attackers met the Hell's Belles for the second time in two weeks, with the prize for this bout being a trip to the Ivy King Cup championship in June. Just the same as a fortnight ago, the Manics were victorious with a 227-122 win.
The Belles broke out of Jam 1 with a 15-0 lead thanks to Zombea Arthur and held onto their lead 22-18 by Jam 3 after Ying O'Fire slugged back 15 points, and Tamikaze jammed for three points in the third. A jam later, Thievin' ...

The Fury Nearly Fall to Double Crossers in Playoffs

Saturday night the undefeated first-place Fury took the track in what some thought might be another routine win on the way to the finals. Much to their surprise, The Fury were caught up in a fight for their lives as the Double Crossers pushed forward with what was their greatest performance all season.
The playoff bout saw 15 separate lead changes between the two teams as the Double Crossers piled on points, crowded The Fury’s jammers, and generally made life on the track hell for feared furiosas.

Dinah Party began her roller derby life in New York City with none other than the three-time champion, the Gotham Girls Roller Derby, before moving to Chicago to take up a role with the Windy City Rollers. Currently a member of The Fury, Dinah started out playing for the Hell's Belles before transferring after the 2012 season.

Bloody Elle started her derby life in Chicago on the Windy City Roller’s farm team, the Haymarket Rioters, before taking up a role with The Chicago Outfit for the last few years. After a few season of travel team play with The Chicago Outfit and the Midwest MEGA, Elle made the switch back to Windy City this January just in time to be drafted to the Hell’s Belles. We caught up with Elle just ahead of this weekend’s playoff bout against the Manic Attackers.

The night kicks off at 6 p.m. with the second place Manic Attackers taking on the third place Hell’s Belles, and continues with the first place The Fury going head to head against the fourth place Double Crossers. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Windy City Rollers Land in London

The Windy City Rollers All-Stars have landed in London, England to take part in this weekend's Anarchy III Invitational Tournament. The tournament, which kicks off this Saturday, is an event organized by the London Roller Girls (LRG) and features not only Chicago's #1 roller derby league, but also Edinburgh, Scotland's Auld Reekie Roller Girls and the Bear City Roller Girls of Berlin, Germany.
