AliSin Chains is a member of the Manic Attackers and the Windy City Rollers' Second Wind travel B team, where she's been a pivotal defensive player for both teams the last two years. Though AliSin is reluctant to admit that she's a bit of a rock star, we met up with her to talk about derby and her love for music.

Mothers Day 2012 seemed more like a heated sibling rivalry as the Hell’s Belles took on Windy City Rollers 2011 defending champs, The Fury, at the UIC Pavilion on Sunday, March 13, 2012.

The first of two afternoon playoff bouts on Mother’s Day kicked off at 3pm as the Double Crossers faced the undefeated Manic Attackers. Windy City All-Star veterans Hoosier Mama and Varla Vendetta joined the Crossers’ squad as guests in addition to Dame Over, Indycent, and co-captain Joanie Utah, all of whom made a return to the roster.

You've heard from the captains and you've watched the season play out in all it's glory, but you haven't heard what the other half of each team's co-captains think. The playoffs for the Ivy King Cup Championship go down on Sunday, and though the records for the regular season are on the books, anything can happen.
