On Sunday, July 25th, five Windy City Rollers skated in the Chicagoland Inline Marathon in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Our anthem performers this time around are Cletus Darby, a band that has lived many lives by many names. Abby and Darrin started out on the mean streets of Gainesville, Florida doing musical improv and parodies much to the delight of the masses. The featured charity for our bout this weekend has been beautifying Chicago for over twenty years.

Besides the hits and falls we take on the track, one of the hardest things about roller derby is convincing people just how hard we train, practice, and work for this.

The Windy City Rollers are teaming up with Sound Bar for a Charity Car Wash from 2-6 pm on Saturday, July 24th.
